Dear Friends,
We live in one of the most naturally beautiful and culturally diverse regions in the country. Not only does the Bay Area Peninsula feature beaches, mountains, farmland and redwood forests, but it is home to Silicon Valley, Stanford University and residents who are open-minded, innovative, inclusive and kind. There is a lot to be proud of here.
I invite you to show me what you love about the place you call home by entering the Peninsula Proud Photography Contest, which kicks off on January 6, 2025 and runs through January 31, 2025. I’ll select three winners whose work will be displayed in my Capitol Office in Sacramento and on my website.

How to Enter
Please submit photographs and entrant information through the web form below. Entrants may only submit one photograph. In order to be displayed in our online gallery without being stretched or distorted, photographs must be submitted in .jpeg, .jpg or .gif format, edited for web in sRGB color space, at least 2000 pixels wide and no larger than 5 MB. Please click here for further information on the contest requirements.
- We do not accept photographs submitted through the mail and do not accept more than one contestant per e-mail address.
- Finalists must be prepared to submit an original, unedited digital file or an original negative, print or slide.
