Senior Scam Stopper Seminar
Dear Friends,
Sophisticated scams increasingly target seniors, and thieves often use technology to gain access to personal information. Please join Assemblymember Diane Papan and me on Friday, July 26th for a seminar about common scams and how seniors can protect themselves.
This seminar will feature expert speakers from the San Mateo Police Department, Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) of San Mateo, and the Contractors State License Board. Topics will include internet scams, Medicare fraud and how to identify it, and home improvement schemes, and what to avoid when hiring a contractor.
